Display Requirements

Booth size: approx 10’x 7  

Each exhibitor (manufactures & suppliers) must email or fax exactly what you are bringing to the show.  No exceptions!  Remember this is a monument show; only items related to cemetery monuments will be allowed.  No landscape ornamental pieces will be accepted.  Benches and statuary related to cemetery monuments are acceptable.
Every item must be pre-approved by our Exhibit Committee.
This includes backdrops and signs. Each piece is set by monument dealers using hand trucks. * exceptions may apply if the item is considered too dangerous to set *

Set-up for monuments is on Thursday

NO ONE other than the committee is allowed in the room.   

Table-top exhibitors: 
Mid-Atlantic must know and approve what you are bringing. You are responsible for setting up your own booth. 
Set up for table tops is Friday, January 11 from 8 am until noon. 

Photography of display or booths in not permitted!

What we need to know

Ø      How many tables and or chairs do you need? What size table?  6 foot or round?

Ø      Are you bringing equipment that will not fit on the table? 

Ø      Are you bringing your own backdrop?  We need the sizes of oversized equipment and backdrops. 

Ø      Do you need electricity?  Electricity is an additional charge that will be billed separately. 
Once you request electricity you will be billed whether you use it or not. 

Ø      We need a sketch of how you want your booth arranged.

If you ship your items directly to the hotel, you are responsible for that expense.  Please contact the hotel directly to give them your billing information.   Marriott Waterfront (1.410.385.3000)

Remember everything must be approved. Do not send anything via truck that was not approved for it will not be set up for display.

Sizes for monuments

Limit of up to ? monuments per booth.
This year the amount of monuments per booth will be based on linear feet. Allow at least one foot of space between each unit displayed.
Each exhibitor, regardless of how many booths you have, is allowed to bring one monument that is sized:

Die 4-0x0-8x2-4  Base 5-0x1-2x0-8

Other sizes

Dies up to 2’4”  (3’2” max height)

Dies 2’6”  to 3’0”  (2’10” max height)

Dies 3’2”  to  3’6”  (2’8” max height)

 

8” max base height   1’2” max width

6” base may be 1’4” wide

NO 10" bases allowed
NO 10" dies allowed
NO sub bases allowed

Statues up to 5’
Benches and non standard monuments are subject to approval by Exhibit Committee

All pieces must be marked with your company name and unit number. 
Crating costs:  $85 per unit.
We reserve the right to charge $100 extra for any crate that is unacceptable or falls apart during uncrating.

Please mark Mid-Atlantic Convention on your crates.

You are responsible for contacting one of the above trucking firms to have your granite shipped to the convention. Any other trucking firms or arrangements must be approved by the exhibit committee. 

Remember you are responsible for your granite to be shipped both ways.
If for any reason you contract with one shipping company and you want to change your shipper during the show, you are responsible to make these arrangements. If you sell your display pieces contact the appropriate shipping company. The Mid Atlantic Committee is not responsible for any costs of your granite being shipped with a different carrier. We are not responsible for changing carriers for you.
